Dave
So far so good! I didn't do the recommended 30' pole as suggested since I live in central Florida without any obstacle interferences like trees, tall buildings, etc. and went with two 10' conduit poles with a coupling connection in the middle which cost me less than $30.00 plus another $5.00 for the Quikrete cement. The bottom of the pole is locked in a bracket and is encased in the cement which is 2.5 feet in the ground and the other 17.5 feet is above ground with two more brackets along the way making sure the top bracket is above the connection to the top pole. I'm able to aim the remote control through the window in order to point the antenna in the best directions possible and I'm picking up TV channels from Sarasota Florida and Tampa Florida, giving me 73 channels total. I'm sure if I played around with it some more my results could change, like adding a transmitter booster, but I'm good for now.

As a recent "cord cutter", I found myself missing some local programming. I'm in the far Philly suburbs, about 35 straight-line miles from the digital TV signal sources, from what I could find online. I previously tried an indoor antenna, but got virtually nothing. Before I invested time/money in a new antenna, as any good engineer would, I decided to do a "proof of concept" test, then an A/B test, so I wanted to share the results.First, before buying this new PBD outdoor antenna, I recycled an old Winegard outdoor antenna that came off the roof of my RV/Camper, when I was repairing a roof leak. We never used the antenna in the camper anyway, so I pulled it off. So, I rigged the RV antenna onto the roof of my house (two story home, and I'm at one of the higher elevations in my area), to see how many channels it could pull in, and was amazed how many really clear over-the-air channels this thing pulled in.Encouraged by the results, I bought this PBD antenna, hoping it would work even better, but it didn't. To be fair, I may have had a returned antenna, since my box was missing the 40' coax cable, but the antenna looked new otherwise, and everything worked (power supply, amplifier, rotation, remote) as expected.Unfortunately, after replacing that temporary camper antenna with this PBD antenna, the number of successfully acquired stations went down, when I told my TV to rescan for channels. This antenna was at the same height/location, and same direction, as the old one. The same major networks still worked, but I'd see more pixelation from time-to-time, and there were a few channels that I got with the old antenna that this PBD antenna couldn't pull in, no matter the rotation. In my attached picture, the PBD antenna is on the left, and my Winegard camper antenna is on the right.All-in-all, I gave this four stars. Very easy to assemble, great price point, especially since it has a rotator motor and a remote. And compared to an indoor antenna, it will probably give you a ton more channels. Just surprised that an old RV antenna would outperform it. But mainly, their customer service was, without a doubt, the best I've encountered, and contacted me immediately to see how they could help.

So after months of hemming and hawing, I finally broke down and bought one. I had Direct TV for years. The price increases we insane, was now at $100. And they wanted me to get their streaming service at over $75 a month and ditch the dish. I had enough. Xfinity is close to twice the price. So I took down the dish, slid the antenna pole I had gotten separately, into the old dish mount and put this baby up. Took all of an hour total. From assembly, to watching tv. Now, if you have more than one television, you will need a splitter. I recommend the Antronix 4 way powered. I purchased the GE one first, and it was terrible. Main tv got 60 plus channels and the others only 24. Swapped out the splitter and all tvs get over 60 channels now. This antenna is awesome. The motorized part works great, and if you are near a city/metro area all of the towers are usually in the same direction. Found the heading with use of the internet and adjusted one time. Everything comes in crystal clear. Some channels play old stuff, so it looks old, but other wise the HD channels look great. So worth the investment. For just about $100 total, I am saving $1200 a year. And couldn’t be happier.

I had the traditional indoor RCA HD antenna which is selling for around $50 bucks. Even hanging it our of my window was only able to get 1 HD channel. Purchased this antenna, assembled and just tossed it in a bush outside my window and now get ALL HD OTA in my area. 70 plus channels!!

The antenna works great, I purchased it a couple of months ago, installed it and forgot about it. That's how good it works. Once set at the correct direction, you don't need to change at all.I live in an area that has poor TV reception , tried several antenna and this is the best. No need to look further.

I used a piece of 1inch EMT conduit and made my own mounting arm to extend higher above the chimney, we are very pleased with this and I would highly recommend!!!!!!

This antenna replaced our old one for local stations.. we now get 73 digital stations.. with the motor rotor you can point it at any city in any direction.. not bad at all for the price.. it was kind of a pain to put it together and much more difficult to install it on the roof however it's a dam good antenna.

Easy install, went from 10 to 50 channels in less then 3 hours installation. Highly recommend!

The PDB antenna is a great unit providing us with improved reception over our old antenna. The rotator is a great feature for getting the best reception from each channel. The kit contained everything needed and was easy to assembly. I had a problem with initial installation - through no fault of the antenna manufacturer. PDB's customer service was excellent and responded within hours of my request for help, and resolved my problem quickly.

We had been using a traditional aerial antenna on a mast connected to our gable end. We wanted to clean up the look, so I removed it BUT soon realized all our local, non-streaming channels weren’t coming over the internet. Rather than re-install, I looked for something more compact and updated. We bought both this antenna and a cheaper, little flat plastic thing to try. The cheapy one was pretty worthless (hanging it behind telly); it might have been better if I’d pulled it over and stuck it to a window but that would look quite terrible. So I hooked the PBD-WA 2608 to my coax cable outside, sat it on a table, did a channel scan and BOOM!, whole buncha channels! I went ahead and installed it (easy to do) up by the peak of our gable, scanned again and got 39 “local” digital channels. We’re about 35-40 miles east of Cincinnati where the majority of what we pick up are broadcast from. Some of the channels though may be from Dayton or Indy, not sure w/o researching a bit. Anyway, it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. Like most stuff, it seems somewhat lightweight and cheaply made, hopefully it will hold up to weather and sun for dome years. I’ve not tried the rotation feature yet so I can’t speak to how well that works.

We live in rural Mo. (65078) and were literally paying $100 a month for cable tv through our ISP. Decided to switch to SlingTv for $35/month and got more cable channels than we had before but didn't get any local channels and I don't wanna miss out on football!! We liked the price and reviews on this antenna so we decided to give it a try and I'm glad we did! It shipped out fast and arrived in perfect condition, and it was a breeze to assemble and install! Got it hooked up to the tv, aimed it in the right direction and started scanning, got over 30 channels (including sub-channels) right off the bat! We're roughly 50+ miles from the nearest tower and surrounded by trees so I'm VERY impressed!! If you're on the fence, go for it! PBD was very good about following up with us and letting us know they were there to help if we had any questions or issues! I couldn't be happier with this purchase!!!

So excited that this is working! I've tried a bunch of different digital antennas and was never able to get channels. I finally figured I needed to get something a bit more robust and pick this up on sale for prime day. I thought I would need to pay to have somebody install it but I decided to give it a shot myself and it was very easy. I've picked up about a hundred channels from a antenna that's over 50 mi away near Los Angeles. Really happy with this purchase!

Excellent antenna! Will now be able to cancel basic satellite service ($45/mo.) which I needed to receive broadcast TV channels from 60 miles away, and now also sub-channels previously unavailable with satellite dish.

The media could not be loaded.  Great product. My husband was looking for better reception in the workshop/mancave. WiFi is not an option, as it's just far enough from house to impede. He's tried 3 other antenna products over the course of as many years. Prior to this one, he'd been able to get 12-14 channels (3 of which, were sporadic or choppy, dependent on weather). I know video is not great, but attempting to show surroundings that affect reception, and I'll note that it'd be impossible to gain a view of the wooded areas & mountains. Only able to capture the immediate surroundings. We live in VA, between the lake & heavily wooded areas, w trees towering many stories above our home. Additionally, we've got the Blue Ridge Mountains. Beautiful, but not conducive to reception.Negative - to date, is that he had to post it higher than crest of roof. That, in my opinion, was a personal choice, considering the mountains & trees around us.Positive - Reception has improved so greatly, that he's now getting over 40 channels, 50, in good weather. The unit comes w a remote, which rotates the antenna at 360°. He's happy, and that doesn't happen w gadgets very often, lol. Hope this helps anyone lost in the abyss of searching for a dependable product. Very cool. Recommend. Good experience, thank you seller.
